The most common Xtream IPTV player and a good choice for older Android devices. Choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”, enter your details, and live TV, movies, series and the guide load in separate sections. It is no longer listed on Google Play, so install it with the Downloader app as shown in the setup guide, and avoid copycat apps with similar names.
Built for the TV remote, with a fast, cable-style programme guide that live TV viewers love. Premium is recommended: the free version lacks features such as VOD, favourites and quick channel switching, and Premium adds recordings and multiple playlists. It does not run on iPhones.
A lightweight player designed around the Xtream Codes login. It is a good fallback if another app struggles on an older Android box, and it gives you a clear split between live channels, films and series.
The usual choice on Smart TVs that cannot install Android apps. You open the app to find your TV's device ID, add your Xtream Codes or M3U details on the IBO Player website, and the channels appear on the TV. After the trial the app asks for a one-time activation fee.
An older Smart TV favourite that loads an M3U playlist you upload using the TV's MAC address. It is reliable for live channels but less convenient for movies and series than an Xtream Codes player.

About apps simply called “Xtream IPTV Player”: several developers publish apps with that name on Google Play, the App Store, the Microsoft Store and Roku. They are all players only. Install from the official store, read recent reviews, and avoid any app that asks you to pay it for channels.

An M3U playlist is a single web link that contains every channel. You need it for apps that do not support Xtream Codes, such as Smart IPTV (SSIPTV) and most Roku players. If you need an M3U link instead of an Xtream Codes login, just ask support and they will send it.
